Reading the Drive Report

Whenever a family member is moving above 15 km/h continuously for at least 90 seconds, HaevenX classifies the trip as a drive and starts recording. When they slow down and stay still for five minutes, the drive ends and a summary appears in the Drive Report screen.

Each row tells you

• Date and time the drive started.
• Distance in kilometers, computed by summing the distance between every GPS point.
• Max speed in km/h. We take the highest reliable reading; bursty GPS noise gets filtered out.
• Average speed across the trip.
• Harsh-brake count. A harsh brake is any deceleration over 4 m/s². On a typical clean drive you'll see zero; one or two means a sudden stop; ten or more means aggressive driving.
• Speeding events. Any sustained reading over 120 km/h gets flagged. Brief dips above the threshold (overtaking, downhill bursts) are ignored.
• Score from 0 to 100. Starts at 100 and deducts 10 per harsh brake, 15 per speeding event, and a flat 20 if the max speed exceeded 144 km/h. Most clean drives score above 85.

What the route view shows

Tap any drive to open its detail screen. You'll see:

• The full GPS trace overlaid on the map.
• Red markers wherever a harsh brake happened.
• An orange-shaded segment for any stretch the speed exceeded the limit.
• A small speed graph along the bottom showing speed over time.

Tips

• Drive Reports are read-only for the kid being reported on. They can see their own data but not modify it.
• If a "drive" was actually a passenger trip (kid in someone else's car or on transit), tap ... on the row and choose Mark as passenger. The trip stays in the log but is excluded from the score.
• Drives older than 90 days are auto-archived to save storage. If you need long-term data for an insurance claim, contact hello@haevenx.com within 90 days of the trip.
