Inviting a family member
Share a link, share a code, or send by email. What the new member sees on the other end.
HaevenX families have a master (you) and zero or more members (kids, partner, elderly parent, anyone you want on your map). The first three members are included in the $99 monthly subscription; member 4 and onward add $2.99 each per month.
Three ways to invite
From the Family dashboard, tap Invite member. You have three options:
- Share link: a deep-link the new member can tap on their phone. Opens HaevenX (or the App Store / Play Store if they don't have it) and pre-fills the join.
- Six-digit code: easiest for kids who don't have iMessage / WhatsApp on the same device. You read it out, they type it.
- Email invite: HaevenX sends the link to an email address you enter. Useful if you want a paper trail.

What the new member sees
If they tapped your link or pasted your code, they'll be asked to:
- Confirm their name and email.
- Grant Always-on location (so the family map stays accurate when their phone is in their pocket).
- Grant Notifications (so you can send check-ins and the patrol can reach them in an emergency).
- Grant Motion and Fitness (for crash detection).
Each grant comes with a one-line plain-English explanation. If they decline a permission, the corresponding feature simply doesn't work; they can re-grant later in iOS Settings.
Removing a member
From the Family dashboard, swipe left on the member or tap their card and choose Remove from family. Their app reverts to a personal HaevenX account; their location data is no longer visible to you and is purged from your family timeline within 24 hours.
Limits
HaevenX caps a family group at 12 members. If you need more (extended family, large household), contact hello@haevenx.com and we'll lift the cap.
