Family billing and add-ons
How the $99 a month neighborhood subscription and the $2.99 per family-member-over-3 add-on work.
HaevenX's pricing has two pieces: the neighborhood subscription ($99/month default, varies by neighborhood) and the family add-on ($2.99 per month per family member after the first three).
The neighborhood subscription
This is the patrol fee. You only pay it once your neighborhood has hit the 150-resident threshold and the patrol has actually deployed. Until then, your card is on file but no charge happens. See How the 150-neighbor threshold works for the full mechanics.
The default rate is $99 a month per household. Some neighborhoods (HOAs, gated communities, condo associations) negotiate a different per-resident rate or a sponsored model; if yours has, the app shows your neighborhood-specific terms instead.
The family add-on
The $99 includes one family master and up to three family members. Member four and beyond add $2.99 each per month, billed to the same card on the same monthly cycle. So:
- Master + 3 members: $99/month.
- Master + 4 members: $99 + $2.99 = $101.99/month.
- Master + 8 members: $99 + (5 × $2.99) = $113.95/month.
Where to see and update your card
Settings → Payment Methods. You can have multiple cards on file but only one is the default for billing. To change which card we use, set a different one as default.

Failed payments
If a charge fails (card expired, insufficient funds), HaevenX:
- Tries again in 24 hours.
- If the second attempt fails, marks your account past_due. The app shows a banner asking you to update your card.
- If still unpaid after 7 days, the account moves to unpaid and most features lock except SOS and the family map (we never lock safety features over a billing issue).
Cancelling
Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. You keep access through the end of the current billing period. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you re-subscribe; after 30 days it's purged.
